We leverage electronic submission to carriers accepting this format, while paper claims are sent to those not currently supporting electronic submission. Our dedicated team ensures thorough follow-up with insurance carriers and our clearinghouse to confirm claim acceptance. Secondary claims are promptly forwarded upon receipt of the primary Explanation of Benefits (EOB). Unpaid or underpaid claims receive our attention, and if needed, we initiate appeals, resubmitting claims with the necessary details and managing follow-up procedures.
In addition to efficient claims processing, our full-service billing includes the daily generation of patient statements. Employing a "soft" collection approach involving letters and, if necessary, telephone calls, we strive to maintain positive patient relations. Please note that we do not offer payment processing services, ensuring a streamlined focus on billing and claims management. To aid in financial transparency, customized monthly reports are provided, detailing charges, deposits, adjustments, and patient balances.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGEMENT
At Foothill Billing, we offer dedicated services to recover accounts receivables. Our team contacts insurance carriers to determine the status of claims, diligently resubmitting claims if they were never received, never paid, or are not on file. Follow-up procedures are executed based on claim status, and if required, medical records are attached to facilitate resubmission. Throughout the re-bill project, all claims are directly sent to the claims manager for seamless processing.
PHYSICIAN CREDENTIALING SUPPORT
Our team at Foothill Billing specializes in physician credentialing, handling both initial credentialing and re-credentialing processes for every provider in your office. We complete applications for all insurance companies, including 855’s for Medicare, storing comprehensive data in our secure database. Our meticulous approach involves attaching all necessary documents, such as current licenses, CME records, declarations pages, malpractice narratives, certifications, etc., to ensure thorough applications. Once prepared, we send the applications to you for signatures, offering mobile Notary Public services for added convenience.
